  • Investigate IB philosophy and potential fit for school
  • Visit other IB schools and train teachers
  • Prepare extensive two-part application
  • Send application to New York, IBNA regional office
  • Host on-site IB committee
  • Wait for authorization letter from Director General, Jeff Beard, Switzerland
  • Receive official approval for program implementation
