2. Who is your favorite character in the book? What do you like about this character? How is this character similar to and different from you?
3. What lesson can be learned from your book? Can you apply this lesson to your life?
4. The main character in both book is dealing with anxiety about the first day of school in a new school. How do you think his/her first day of school will compare to your first day at ELMS?
5. On a separate sheet of paper, write a friendly letter to the main character or your book. Tell him/her how you fell about what’s going on in his/her life, and give him/her some advice about the situation he/she is dealing with.
Self-Reflecting Collage: Create a collage on a full-size poster board about yourself. All pictures and items on the board should represent you and things that you enjoy. We all want to get to know each other from day one. These collages will help us do just that! |
