The Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools announces a vacancy in the following position:

                             MANAGER INTERN – SCHOOL FOOD SERVICE
                                                      TRAINING CLASS
                10 MONTHS – 7.5 Hours per day - Grade 4 - Base Hourly Rate - $10.46

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:

Associates Degree or certified in culinary arts or 2 years as a school food service cafeteria manager or 3 years as a school food service assistant manager or 3 years lead cafeteria worker. Experience in quantity food production along with supervisory and fiscal management/leadership responsibilities is highly desirable. Must obtain a passing score on an aptitude and math test. Valid Tennessee Driver’s Licenses and a personal vehicle available for traveling to other sites as needed.

Attends classes and receives training in school food service management and procedures, participates in class discussions and activities to include fiscal managerial responsibilities; sanitation and safety regulations, health department standards and regulations, food preparation, school food service requirements and applicable laws.
