Welcome to East Literature Magnet School. We are located in the heart of the vibrant Historic East Nashville community, site of the former East Nashville High School, which opened in 1932 and for the next four decades provided many of the leaders for Nashville, the state of Tennessee, and the United States. Alumni of East Nashville High School became leaders in government, business, entertainment and military service. The campus today is still the home of the East Nashville High School Alumni Association, which is recognized as one of the largest alumni organizations in the United States.
