The Metropolitan Nashville Board of Education announces a vacancy in the following position:

DISPATCHER - SPECIAL EDUCATION
TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT
12 months – Grade 9 - Base Hourly Rate - $16.72
Split-Shift
Open until candidate is identified

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or G.E.D required. Computer skills and experience in reading and interpreting maps preferred.

Candidate must have the ability to work early morning and/or late evening hours.  Candidate shall have knowledge of the geographical area of Davidson County.  Possess the ability to operate a two-way radio, a desktop computer and possess good telephone and oral communication skills. Must posses the ability to work with minimal supervision.  Candidate must also be able to deal with stressful and confidential matters.
