The Metropolitan Nashville Board of Education announces a vacancy in the following position:

Accounts Payable Administrator
Business Office
12 Months - Grade 9 - Base Hourly Rate $16.72

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Five (5) years experience accounting/bookkeeping, secretarial assignments involving financial recordkeeping and accounts payable. Experience in governmental accounting desirable.

Oversees the accounts payable and procurement activities of MNPS; establishes accounting policies and procedures consistent with GAAP; directs the preparation of receivable and disbursement warrants; coordinates the external audit of general funds; assigns and monitors special projects; keeps management informed on finance issues; assigns duties to accounts payable staff; trains other employees.
