Ms. DeSha has a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction 
from Tennessee State University.  She is certified in the following areas:  High School Math, High 
School Government, Economics, History, Geography, Sociology, and Psychology and Elementary 
Education.  She has achieved highly qualified status under No Child Left Behind.

Ms. DeSha is married to Dr. Erskine White who teaches at University School of Nashville and 
Tennessee State University.  Between them, they have four children:  Daniel, Derek, Joshua and 
Jordan.  They both share common interests of reading, traveling, and of course BASEBALL!
